day 1 of learning to live with a full thickness and internal prolapse, until my surgery in 2 months.
thoughts/feelings: I miss working out and pushing my cardiovascular system to its limits. I don't just workout for looks, I workout because it has been a consistent, mentally helpful and grounding part of my life that makes me feel good - even when I'm not feeling the best!!
ahhh, such is life 😞
Here's to learning and living with a complication that will impact me for life.

This journal entry is targeted at women, but it's not a gender-specific medical issue/complication, so anyone is free to read/comment. It's just a heads-up in case someone might find it a little straightforward, lol.
After 2.5 years of consistent, hard work. I've had to end my love/hate relationship with F45. F45 has been the only style of workout I've enjoyed, has changed my composition & has improved my overall level of fitness and strength.
At 27 years old and 13 years of struggling with food and eating disorders, I've finally found a workout/lifestyle that suits me and keeps me where I am my happiest, but that has come to an end - for now.
I have had a full internal prolapse & rectal, and it presented it self when I was working out at F45. This is in NO way blaming F45, but more so to remind women especially, to not just workout for looks, but for health and overall well-being in a way that doesn't put you at risk or harm. Please don't push yourself to the next level and ignore your body cues or signals! I've been diagnosed with Interoception, which is my inability rmto recognise and link bodily feelings, symptoms, pain etc. So please, don't just workout out because people are promoting a specific way of exercising, workout to stay health, fit and to improve your overall health.
here's to the next few years of relearning my body, addressing my eating disorder and learning to be happy - even when the scale and clothes go up!!
health is wealth!!!
