After a stressful discussion right now, I am not turning to food.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.
I can ONLY control ME. That's it. Nothing and No one else.

Another beautiful, cool September like morning. I feel good! Danced down the aisles of the cubicles today at work, lol.
Don't worry, everyone here is used to it by now.
Checked around all the offices for FIT DAWN.
Fat Dawn has been cooperating so nicely! Drinking her water, eating right, checking her sugar 6 times a day, taking her vitamins and insulin..
It's going to be a wonderful day! :)

What a glorious morning! It's like September here today, cool and no humidity. Good day for a walk at lunch time with my new pedometer, ..OHHHHH YEAHHHHH and it's a good one.
Okay, so here's great news, my fasting sugar today was 114! (very happy fat girl right hur!) I'm gettin it done. Hey, lookie here, I know it's only been 4 days, but this is MONUMENTAL for me to have exercised at ALL, let alone 13+ miles everyday.
My new approach is working for my sugar and how I feel. I feel wonderful, really. No back pain..??what?? The only pain I have had, LOL is when I stand up after riding my bike and can't walk!! Yep, crawled up the basement steps again last night!.. Sweaty, purple faced and truimphant!
On the third night of riding my recumbent bike, I started out not feeling it...ughhhhh, 13 miles to go. Watched tv for a bit, but that wasn't getting it, so I turned on the tunes. ohhhh yeah, that did it.
I actually did 14.04 miles last night instead of 13. Man, it feels so good to accomplish something difficult!! :) YAY!!
Ok fat Dawnie, calm down.. slow and steady there girl.
I've been logging my calories every meal into my Fat Secret app, and my exercise.
Praying everynight for strength, and for FAT DAWN not to get in my head along with LAZY DAwn and get in my way.

Slow and steady... When I arrived home from work yesterday, I changed my clothes and got right on my bike. I told my husband that I knew if I waited, I would end up doing something else and not exercising. He agreed and is thankfully so supportive.
He made dinner while I worked out. I kept a consistent 15-17.4 mph.
I rode 13 miles again. This time it took 53 minutes instead of 60. I stayed on for 55. I was sweating profusely, couldn't stand up. ( due to my legs not being used to this!! my leg gave out) That's okay, I crawled up the steps feeling triumphant. My dog, who is super protective of me, stood next to my bike watching me the whole time! LOL!! She looked at me like ' OH MY GOD! YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!'. She tried licking my sweaty face all the way up the steps.
My husband said he is so proud of me. Im pretty damn proud of me too. I pray to God I continue on this road, and don't let FAT DAWN talk me out of it.
I am diabetic, I take insulin 4 times a day and oral medication. My sugars are great lately. ESPECIALLY after I exercised. HMMMM, could this connection FINALLY be getting through to me?? FINALLY?!!!
No fad diets, no quick fixes this time. JUST EXERCISE and watching more carefully what I eat.
Today, I changed my 678 cal breakfast to a 373 cal breakfast, just by trading a bagel for an english muffin! Thanks to my Fat Secret app on my phone. I LOVE IT!.
