Well all the schoolwork and stress finally accumulated into a binge :( I am so sad because I was doing really well with portions, which was my main focus. I have been really busy working late hours and in the final weeks of my masters program. I have taken on four more mentees and surprise! It hit me about 3 am. I see all the things that I am doing wrong just trying to make it through to the end of semester. Oh well I probably blew the weigh in but I am back on track today. Upward and onward !

I decided that since my 9.2 weight loss in three days just made absolutely no sense. I have changed my start weight to 225.2 this is the weight that I was when I weighed in two days ago. I want this to be a real journey and although I have lost weight since I started last week. I want to start the Fatsecret journey right. I do not want to deceive myself :) So here we are the beginning again :)

So today was different. I don't usually fry potatoes but my friend requested them and she just had surgery on her knee. I used 2 TBLs of Coconut oil, and the potatoes were homegrown organic. I also added organic green tomatoes. I grew them myself :) Maybe not the best choice but the best choices for this choice :)
The beans were made with a homegrown organic smoked ham hock. Not a lot of fat but there was fat.
I think the worst choice that I made today was the ranch dressing. Looking at calories I am still under about 1000. But I cannot eat any more :-?

I am not sure if my scale was messing up or what but this morning it read 225.2 I got off and on twice and my neighbor said that she could tell I was losing weight???? I did not tell her that I was dieting! So I am taking this as a gift from God :) However it came about I am 10 pounds lighter and so motivated :) I am willing to start at 225 :) I love this site :)

Today I am doing well so far. The change that I am making is to ride my aerodyne in the morning as while I read or visit with friends. Instead of creamer I use whey protein powder in my coffee. This way I get the creaminess of the whey and sweetness of the vanilla. I don't feel guilty because I am also getting protein. The total calories are 90 per cup. I make one cup with the powder or split the half a scoop between them. Either way the total calories are about the same. I had a fried egg and 1/4 cup of pinto beans with two slices of Orowheat toast at 80 calories per slice. This bread also has extra goodies such as sunflower seeds and flax. To drink I make a large pitcher of power greens which is about 70 calories and I sip on this all day. In the evening only water or water with lemon. I am supposed to be eating 1820 calories in order to lose two pounds a week, but it is hard to get all of those calories in a day. I have decided at night I will become a rabbit and nibble on carrots and celery. I am also making kale chips from the garden and if I want a snack some yogurt and frozen grapes So far I have eaten around 500 calories and ridden my bike for 20 minutes. I am in a masters level program so riding my bike breaks up the monotony of studying. I am trying to work up to three 15 minute rides per day. And then I will begin to work on stamina. I love this site!
