I am feeling down. I have been logging what I eat and eating less than the required amount of daily calories and yet I have gained instead of losing weight.
My husband has been off work and cooked three days last week. Granted, I have eaten some foods that I don't usually have but I watched my portions etc. But I don't understand why I gained pounds.
Just can't seem to get the right balance to accomplish the weight loss that I have been struggling to get for more than a year now. Feeling so defeated.

I think I lost a pound. Originally I used my scale on two floor surfaces and it gave me two different totals. Today it was the same on both so I think I lost a pound. Guess I will know for sure next Saturday.

Proud to say that I only had 1 small piece of chocolate last night. Had an egg white veggie omelet and Chaga tea for breakfast. I just finished walking 1.53 miles in 29 minutes and 27 seconds. Off to another good start. Yea!!!!!!!!

Last night I started trying to eliminate processed sugar. I am hoping to decrease my constant desire to eat sweets. I am also hoping to decrease my portion sizes. Today, so far - so good.
