I haven't been on-site for 3.5 weeks. Went on vacation, fell off the wagon and haven't committed to climb back in until today. I feel lousy again. I have to begin to view carbs like I do fruit. I'm allergic - the symptoms are just more subtle. Some fruit, instantly makes my throat itch or quickly causes nausea/indigestion. Carbs make me tired, irritable, and messes up my digestive system. I only exercised once last week. I hurt the next day and haven't tried again. I'm such a pathetic wuss. I got an attitude adjustment yesterday - that turned my perceived obstacles into grains of sand in comparison. Jordan, 18 yrs old, was nearly killed in a car wreck 8/9/09. She lost her right hand and is still in re-hab, re-learning to walk, talk and function. The more progress she makes, the harder she works to achieve her goals.

My fall from the program lasted much longer than I had imagined. It's hard to get back to low-carbs once you've let the megga-carbs get their teeth in. I am painfully aware that I DO NOT feel the energy I had 3 weeks ago.

It's been a tough couple of days. Couldn't sleep Sat. night. Forced myself to eat on Sun. but still only managed about 500 calories. It felt like I swallowed a sponge that wasn't going anywhere. Woke up several times last night - 2x to pee - three times just to see what time it was. I was brain-dead by 3 o'clock. Just wanted to come home, eat something and go to bed. After I ate and found I'd maxed out carbs and calories - I started craving heavy duty carbs. Like a peanut butter sandwich or a bowl of raisin bran cereal. Food commercials were making me CRAZY. I managed to make myself compromise and went with pork rinds with swiss cheese, mayo and horseradish to dip it in. I think I'll be okay now. I hope this doesn't happen too darn often or I'm not sure I can hang in.

Making progress. I'm not disappointed in that. I do want to rev things up a little. I WILL exercise today!
