I've never realized this until I did some research and tested it out on myself, but caffeine is inflammatory.
Caffeine, more than a drug.
I was wondering why I was having all kinds of tenderness in my joints every time after I drank coffee or energy drink full of caffeine (and I used to drink black coffee and zero sugar energy drinks).
I stopped drinking coffee and beverages containing caffeine and the inflammation disappeared. Who would have thought that America's morning go-to drug can be harmful?
Apparently caffeine does more than just cause inflammation, it also increases insulin resistance, thins your blood vessel walls, blocks iron absorption, promotes calcium loss, and exhausts your adrenal glands to name a few.
It pays to be an autodidact. Exercise those neurons. The process of elimination is the only way to go when you live in a society feeding you poisonous food.

120 hour fast complete.
Breakfast time:
First meal? A big 16oz bloody steak with all the fat on it, side of grilled zucchini, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms smothered in 3 tbsp butter. 1 cup of steamed broccoli and cabbage smothered in 3 tbsp butter and 1/2 gallon of distilled water to wash it down.

A great article to understand the "Super Food" hype written by an accredited practicing dietitian (APD) and nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Dietetics.
Super Food, Super Hyped, Super Expensive.
