Calling all people with a Fitbit, my friends list is lacking! Please friend me so I can have some healthy competition:
www.fitbit.com/user/2DTDGR
Okay, it's really hard to find people using a Fitbit via the website, so that is my sad attempt to find people. :P
Entering what I eat into FatSecret and Fitbit is annoying, BUT I'm using it s a deterrent. You see if I eat something unplanned I have to change it on two websites and who wants to do that, right?

Okay was FatSecret messing up yesterday for everyone else, because it kept telling me to come back in 5 minutes… Oh well, it seems to be fixed now! :D
I got my FitBit Zip! Yey! It’s too late to get an accurate reading today, but I’m looking forward to tomorrow! I was hoping FatSecret and FitBit would play well together… they do NOT. I tried connecting both devices via Syncmetrics, all it does is sync weight data, well that is easy enough to log. The food and activity is what I was really looking for.
At first I tried manually copying everything in my diet calendar from FatSecret to FitBit… OMG, so frustrating! So I think I’m just going to use the FitBit Zip as a more accurate measurement of my activity and I’ll try to translate that data into the FatSecret activity calendar. I think that makes sense, because FitBit knows my weight and is tracking how many steps I take… There was logic in there somewhere, I’m too tired to think at the moment.

I did it, I bought a FitBit Zip, I know it's not the most high tech piece of equipment and it probably won't give me an accurate reading while lifting weights, but that's okay. (Or so I'm telling myself) I convinced a co-worker and my fiancé to get one as well. Maybe if we all hold each other accountable we will make healthier choices. I
NEED
to start doing that, my diet calendar is getting embarrassing...
Healthy choices were going to start today (I feel like I say this all the time), but a friend brought me a Starbucks Mint Chocolate Frappuccino (200 calories) and a different co-worker came around and brought Krispy Kreme Donuts (200 calories).
Instead of asking if I wanted a donut, it was kind of forced on me... you know the shpeel: "Oh come on we have to fatten you up, have a doughnut or two." Then your other co-workers all take one and when the box gets to you everyone stares, so you feel obligated, because you don't want to get into a "no I don't want one - come on just eat one" fight...
::sigh::

Gaining 0.6 kg a Week

This might sound dumb, but yesterday I intentionally ate over my RDI, to see if I could increase my calorie intake and still lose weight... The scale says no.
It looks like I'm going to have to be strict and stay under 1500 calories. Oh well, can't say I didn't try. :)
Oh and I ran yesterday! Yey!
I was also toying with the idea of buying a
Fitbit Zip
to help me determine calories burned and how much I move throughout the day, but I'm not sure how accurate it would be or if I would even remember to clip it on everyday...
