Three pounds in four days. At least some of this might be due simply to the daily weight fluctuations we all experience. I don't really start to trust that I've actually lost weight until I hit 8lbs or so. Still it's three pounds and I'll take it!
While I've made an effort, it hasn't been all that difficult. Funny how sometimes I can really get a handle on the eating while other times I really struggle. I've cut way back on the sweets, upped my activity level and just generally tried to be aware of what I was eating. Salads for lunch with some sort of lean protein - chicken breast, tuna, sardines. And I've actually been measuring the dressing! (2tbsp).
My goal is ten pounds by Thanksgiving. This marker tempts me to up it to 12, but I'm not sure how wise it is to set up moving targets. So let's keep it at 10lbs (with 12lbs a possibility). But first things first. If I hit 5lbs lost by next Saturday, I'll be much more convinced I've definitely made a change.

Ah, me. I gained two pounds in a little over a week, when I intended to lose 2lbs in that time. Diet is always the big challenge. I've been going to the gym fairly consistently but my cardio has slacked off. And stress eating remains a challenge. You just can't out train a bad diet - or more accurately "Too large of a diet" :-)
So I begin again. I have a larger goal of 58lbs lost. But short term, 10lbs by Thanksgiving.
