So, about 2 weeks ago I joined Found Weightloss. I kept seeing the ad on Facebook and decided to give it a try.
The meds they prescribed weren't what I expected (or what I thought I wanted, honestly). It isn't the usual stuff that makes me feel a bit cracked out. I got Naltrexone and Bupropion. I believe these are the active ingredients in Contrave. Didn't read the nest reviews about that particular med, but if it didn't work for me they have other options you can discuss with the doctor.
They give small weekly goals, much like Noom. My first week was Mindful Eating (don't do anything distracting while you eat. Pay attention to the fact that you are eating and how full you are throughout the meal). This week is putting your eating utensil down between bites. The coach is pretty great and we had a live Zoom meet and great with the others on my "Team".
First impression was: I have done this before and it didn't work. However now I am seeing results and not feeling like I am on an actual diet of any sort. I don't feel like I have restrictions or too many rules. I find myself sort of naturally being motivated by the movement on the scale and moving a bit more than before. I am not in a hurry and not trying to hit a certain size or weight. Just trying to be a little bit more healthy. So far, so good. :)
