There is no way to describe what we feel when something as devastating as too many called home too soon.
It is a good time for us to wrap our prayers and hearts around the people of this little village in Connecticut.
Those who have lost their lives, their children, their family members, their friends and neighbors must today move forward somehow, though, I don't know how.
This season will not be the same for any of us. It's meaning will not be lost, as I believe it's meaning perhaps is deepened by the shocking reality of how precious our families and friends are.
Our deepest sympathy to those who have lost members of their family, friends and community in their own lives. May God's grace be with you to heal your broken heart.

When you're sick with the flu, do you do anything on your exercise plan? I didn't do anything but lay around.
I haven't been here on FS much this week because I was sick and all I've wanted to do is sleep and watch movies. But now, I'm back for the attack!
I did eat a few things I normally wouldn't have, like some soup that was pretty rich in fats a couple of those days, and one night I ate a lot of chicken, but I felt the need for the protein spike for some reason. I still lost a little weight despite the fringe eating.
Phil and I had lunch out yesterday at The Yardhouse. It's an easy menu to follow: V= Vegan U= under 550 calories. The rest of the food is pure calories and fat, so we don't even look at the other options. There were plenty of "better" choices. When the food value as high as 550 calories, I just don't eat the whole plate. I'm not working out much so I don't require it.
Phil and I notice that we get full so fast now that we're probably stopping at around 300 calories anyway.
Phil's lean. I told him he eats like a bird, I mean, he skipped meals, didn't drink water, hadn't an appetite. I've been gently coaching him to eat the way I do. He said when he eats like I do, he eats all day. I said, "That's the point! Jack up your metabolism so you burn all day!" As soon as he started eating the way I do, he lost weight and his energy shot up!
We bought free weights the other day. I started working out a little last night. It feels great to start building. I had a dream that I had tight abdominals and I really want them! I think that dream was the beginning of this journey. Last night I had a dream and in it, I was wearing a bikini and I looked good!lol! These dreams are pushing me to a new limit!!! :)
