I'm getting some things on track as of late but exercise is not one of them. Time is not something easy to come by lately. I have been using different apps as well as my new fitbit to try to stay on track though - so far so good. I'm focusing on health all around ... bringing my stress levels down, moving more often even if it's not necessarily a workout, drinking more water, getting on a regular sleep schedule. There's lots of things that need improving and I'm working on everything little bit little.
Right now I'm enjoying some time with my grandma who is visiting from Puerto Rico - hence why it's harder to find time to work out. I barely see her. In the 20 something years I've been living in the states I've only seen her 5 times. So needless to say, grandma takes priority here. Anyway, she returns to the island in a week so then I can get on a normal work out schedule after I leave the office. All in all - even though my weight is back up, I am feeling better. I am less stressed, focusing on things that make me happier, not feeling as tired as usual, etc.
Little by little life keeps improving.

The scale has not been happy with me for a few days now. I feel bloated and my choices the last few days weren't the best. I did some weight lifting at the gym on Saturday and my arms and legs are killing me. I didn't record my calories all weekend either. I need to make that a priority even when I'm super busy. Back on the grind today ... it's snowing over here so I know it's going to be so hard to find the motivation to hit the gym today but I have to. I joined a challenge and I need to get to a certain weight by April 11th. I'm kind of freaking out because I feel like that's just around the corner.

So I believe this is probably the first time I've EVER experienced a drop in weight over a weekend in all the years that I've been on this "journey". Weekends are usually a time where I fall off the wagon and then spend the entire week hanging on by a thread. This time around I didn't want to go backwards - especially after finally getting out of the 240s. So I stuck to my guns, I asked my fiance to please skip cheat day to help me stay on track - he agreed - and we ate healthy all weekend. On top of that Sunday was a spring cleaning day where we were up and moving around the house for 8 hours straight. It was completely exhausting! But I'm sure it helped with staying on track :)
