I was sick with the flu all last week could not keep any thing down. I was in bed for 5 days. Today is my first "real" meal. Poached eggs on multi grain toast and some cooked ham. This may be all I eat today. I hope to see everyone on Wednesday.

By writing my food intake down, I was able to go into my calendar and record the meals I had eaten a few days ago. I have kept track for a whole week now. Yea! Little steps make progress.

Day 3 Tracking. I went to my Endocrinologist today. Good news, I lost 2 lbs. Bad news, A1C was back up. I am hoping by tracking my food intake, and doing better with testing my sugars, that in 3 months, I can bring my A1C back down to a better level.
Today is a liquid diet, getting ready for my colonoscopy tomorrow. Yuck. But it needs to be done.

I have logged in for a second day. I only ate half of the Ruben sandwich yesterday. So the calories should be lower then than what was posted. I am keeping my logging sheet with me to make it easier for me to keep track of what I am eating each day and then logging it in later to my food log. I think this will be my key to do better at logging my food intake.
