I don't understand this at all! I've stuck to my diet obsessively, I'm weighing out all my food to make sure I'm sticking to the serving sizes, I'm burning more calories than I'm taking in. How did I gain a whole pound? Maybe I'm eating to many carbs, I did have 80 carbs one day and 52 yesterday. I don't know, but it's day 4 and I'm suddenly discouraged and wanting to quit.

I don't know if walking through WalMart counts as exercise, but I'm going to count it because we were in there for an hour and a half. Managed to stay away from the pop aisle and that is great for us because Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper are our lifeblood. I'm really proud of the way my fridge looks today, all the fruits and veggies we got. I can't wait to weigh in and see if anything has changed!

I just found this site today, but my husband and I started our diet on Wednesday. Just 3 days in and we are both already feeling better, we've completely cut out sugary drinks (pop and sweet tea) and are only drinking water, I'm sleeping better at night and not feeling so draggy in the morning. This is the longest I've stuck with a diet because usually by the 3rd or 4th day I'm so hungry I can't stand it, but this time we've been trying to eat more filling foods like oatmeal and spinach and staying away from the Lean Cuisines and Weight Watchers meals that do leave me hungry. I'm really hopeful that I'll lose weight this time and I can't wait!
