Surgery day today. Very nervous.
Does diet followed "poorly" include a day of stuffing your face with cake? Somehow I feel there should be a "really didn't bother at all" option. I baked guinness cake two nights ago for my boss' Birthday yesterday, and I do love social cake eating. So on these occasions diet goes to pot. COMPLETELY. And the cake was lovely, but I felt sick for most of the day. Probably nerves. And icing.

Under 70kg!!! Scheduled laser eye surgery for Wednesday - it all happened so fast. Mixed feelings about it. Mostly very chuffed, but a little worried about my night vision (glare, halos etc) as my pupils dilate to Manga cartoon eyes in the dark and that can create problems. How do I know this? At the checkup yesterday the optometrist put eye drops in my eyes to relax the muscles and dilate the pupils. They were massive, all day Like dinner plates with a wee green line edging. It was really hot and sunny, and we went to a hippie fair in bright sunshine afterwards and I swear anyone who looked me in the eyes must have thought I was super-high on something. Felt a little like it too, with all the bright light, and the excitement of it all.
Figured if my night vision is problematic, there are plenty of things out there to decrease my pupil size - heroin etc - and probably HCG too if you ask the right person! Who knows, I may still become a believer! :)
