One of the challenging thing of being a mom is to really keep up with your child/children and have time for yourself. I still continue doing my diet and exercise regime on daily basis but sometimes time is not on my side. I gained a pound again and I’m still trying to be positive. The good thing is my blood pressure is now lower than I used to have. I have a consistent reading of 107/67, 118/74 or 108/72 which is a lot lower than before. I will still push through to lose that excess weight because I believe that nothing is impossible. 😊

I started drinking a lot of water, green tea, cutting down on my portions and walking for 45 mins for 2 days now. Today, I started doing Zumba for 30 mins just to sweat and get my heart pumping. I know it will take time for my body to adjust and recognize that I want to lose weight. I guess 1 lb is not a big deal? 😂.. I don’t wanna stress myself just because I gained a lb and all I want is to lose weight.. Anyway, no matter what happens, I will keep going and moving forward to a healthy me!

Hello. I’m 36 years old, a mom of 4 and I had my last child about a year and 3 months. I have stage 2 hypertension and I am on maintenance for 2 months now. This pushed me to lose weight and my goal is to lose at least 20 lbs just to bring down or hope normalize my blood pressure. I believe that I can do it but I need motivation, support and pay close attention to my goal of losing weight. This app has given me hope to do what I want to succeed in for myself. I pray that everyday will be a good journey for me and that I won’t give up. Plus, it is good to know that I have people like me who posts their journal which will encourage me to pursue my goal. We can do this! ❤️🙏
