I am so angry! I am following my diet EXACTLY! I am staying within my calorie range, eating a variety of foods, drinking water and even excercising a little bit. I write everything down that I eat. I am frustrated that I have a 1 pound gain but I am trying not to let it get to me. I am trying to learn and understand my body. Since the gastric bypass it is just different and I am getting older...:(... and horomones and everything are changing.

I have a theory that fiber is not a post gastric bypass surgery recipient's friend.... I think it has the opposite effect on me that it is supposed to have on most normal people. I have had some constipation and I think that with a combination of being close to that time of the month is causing the weight gain. My clothes are fitting better and the back flab is reducing so I am happy about those things but no matter how hard I try not to let it, the scale still has power over my thoughts...

I am determined to not let this bother me and am going to be researching some stuff on my surgery and constipation and see what I can come up with. Anyone have insight?

Day 5... I must be PMSing because I am soooooo cranky it isn't even funny. The world is irritating me and I have very little patience right now.

I am excited about the 12.8 pounds down this week even though I know that is going to slow down. I have been trying lots of new recipes and combos of food. I am eating lots of veggies and food is tasting so good.

I find that I am eating A LOT of food but not really alot of calories. I am usually a late night eater and I stay up pretty late but I don't want to just eat because I have "calories left" so to speak. I want to eat food that tastes good and is nutritious. Before I started on this new plan, I was craving sugary stuff like crazy... now I don't even want sweets. I actually don't even get that hungry that often. I think my challenge right now is to be eat enough calories to nourish my body and lose weight without just substituting crap because I have the calories.

I will start back on the Wii Fit tonight :) I hope to join a gym in August when we get back from vacation.

Speaking of vacation- only 17 days before we leave!! I am going to see my family for the first time in about 6 years and none of them have seen me since I lost the first 140lbs! I want to be as thin as possible by the time I get there! We are having a family reunion and I am sure all of those aunts and uncles that called me "fat" when I was a kids can eat their words!!

Ok, so now that I have blabbed enough for the day.. hopefully the crakies go away and I will be happier tomorow :)
