An older couple, friends for years, and their little dog have come to stay for six months or so while they work out their future. My house is being gently reorganized to accommodate them and I suspect my life will be too. Enjoy your week, everyone!

I had a run on high carb stuff and oversized portions in general, I think grieving contributes. My head is slowly moving into a better place and I am regaining self-confidence as I build a solo life. Unexpected outbursts of immobilizing tears are lessening but one caught me badly at a course the other day when I had to introduce myself. There are a couple of trips planned for the near future and I want to lose a lot of weight before I see these old friends again so I have a definite timeline to follow now. No excuses.

Thank you all for sharing my journey; your support is always appreciated. I'm going to check out groups now.
