While using diuretic..... so this will probably not stay stable. I really need to overhaul my plan because I'm having serious water weight issues. I'm reading Bernstein's book and everything he is saying makes sense and is demonstrated by what I have (and haven't) been doing. I need to be more consistent with my eating schedule and carb intake schedule to help even out my highs and lows.

I'm starting to think that this 6 # battle might actually be over. Whooohooooo! It is nice to see what I believe in action. Consistent dedication to the plan really works. I'm doing the happy dance in twoterville.
Now I just have to make sure I don't trip over my own feet and gain it back.

Well, I woke up today and weighed myself and got 289.6. I couldn't stop staring at that number. Wow. If only that could be true today. It will be true eventually but I don't think today is that day. I've been using herbs as a diuretic and a little voice in the back of my head said.... Well, maybe.....hahaha.... you'll get there, don't worry. I got off the scale and had to tell myself that was not my correct weight today. I did reweigh and sure enough my weight was still 296. I was sad for awhile but there's no point in keeping that fantasy going for any length of time. My scale is a horrible tease!
He'll see though.....I WILL get there.
I had a battle with a tube of Pringles today too. They were inching closer to me when I wasnt looking. I patiently continued to chew my salad - bacon, tomato, cheese, thousand island dressing (Walden farms which is surprisingly good). I'd look back and all be darned if those Pringles weren't closer to me. I finally had to hand them to my daughter across the table from me. I had to think - why are they bothering me tonight. I have no idea but it was really starting to get to me. My blood sugars were a little high all day but nothing outrageous - thank goodness.
I have a wedding to go to this weekend..... kind of wondering how that is going to go. I have to get prepared for the cake and candies and being around a bunch of food I haven't cooked. I think I'll pack some beef sticks and sugar free candies as a treat. Those are definitely self limiting - don't want to spend the night in the bathroom! ☺.
So, how was the wedding? Wouldn't know.. but the bathrooms were great!
I definitely need to get enough sleep though. I have serious trouble resisting temptation when I'm tired. On that note, have a great day everyone..... it's time for bed!
