Losing 1.6 kg a Week
06 July 2011
A Friendly Reminder from a dear friend....Keep on track Lisa:) so I entered what I ate on the calorie counter, recorded my exercise and I bit the bullet and entered my new fancy weigh in number...ouch!!..
Today at the gym I watched part of a series that is called "Necessary Roughness" on the USA channel. It is about a therpist who councils a football player. She was amusing when dealing with her teenaged daughter and also said all kinds of inspiring words and used analogies that went right along with this weight loss journey...I was awe inspired. So I will get my pen and paper and record some of those inspirational words when I watch it tonight. I hope I can stay up for it as I am already feeling like I am drifting off. I know my weight doesn't define me as a person but is an indicator of how I am dealing with life and my emotions.....No Regrets...Forward March TOWANDA!!!

Gaining 12.7 kg a Week
05 July 2011
Monday/Tuesday....Well it has been hot, hot hot. Yesterday as I was traveling in the car we came across a field of sunflowers who had blossomed their beautiful bright yellow and orange flowers and were getting ready to reach out toward the sun and really grow....it was a breathtaking site. Reminds me of all of us here as we grow.
Meditative Thought: We can set the intention to change, but there must be a willingness to transform. Be willing to grow to transform your life. Be willing to do the practice that is required. Be willing to listen and hear God for direction. Be willing to go through the deep trenches of transformation. It is your willingness that allows growth to happen. Today, be willing to be willing.
Have a beautiful day...With Love, Lisa Online

“I stand for freedom of expression, doing what you believe in, and going after your dreams.” ~ Madonna
FREEDOM, letting go of darkness, tapping in and turning on to the positive as absorb the light. This is how I find my I-Deal Weight. TOWANDA!!!
Take some time this Fourth of July to celebrate and acknowledge your own personal independence, as well as your own right to Life (on your own terms) Liberty (however you envision your personal liberation) and the Pursuit of Happiness (as you individually and truly feel Happiness). (my friend Christina)
Busy weekend visiting with friends and family. We are experiencing temps over 100 that shall continue through Wednesday they say. Hard to keep your cool when your hot. I hope all is well with my F.S. buddies:)
Quotes on Freedom:
The patriot's blood is the seed of Freedom's tree. ~Thomas Campbell
Nothing is more difficult, and therefore more precious, than to be able to decide. ~Napoleon Bonaparte
Here is my advice as we begin the century that will lead to 2081. First, guard the freedom of ideas at all costs. Be alert that dictators have always played on the natural human tendency to blame others and to oversimplify. And don't regard yourself as a guardian of freedom unless you respect and preserve the rights of people you disagree with to free, public, unhampered expression. ~Gerard K. O'Neill, 2081
Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves. ~Abraham Lincoln
I wish that every human life might be pure transparent freedom. ~Simone de Beauvoir
My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular. ~Adlai Stevenson, speech, Detroit, 1952
It is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you. ~Author unknown, sometimes attributed to M. Grundler
We on this continent should never forget that men first crossed the Atlantic not to find soil for their ploughs but to secure liberty for their souls. ~Robert J. McCracken
You have freedom when you're easy in your harness. ~Robert Frost
For what avail the plough or sail, or land or life, if freedom fail? ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it. ~Thomas Paine
In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved. ~Franklin D. Roosevelt
We have to call it "freedom": who'd want to die for "a lesser tyranny"? ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic's Notebook, 1960
Freedom is the oxygen of the soul. ~Moshe Dayan
There are two freedoms - the false, where a man is free to do what he likes; the true, where he is free to do what he ought. ~Charles Kingsley

July 1st and it's a Friday, it's finally Friday!!!!
I have some errands, appointments at the D.M.V., dentist appointment and will make a few business telephone calls and then the weekend is all mine:)
With some time management, creative thinking for the hurdles and distractions that that come along on this life journey I am developing plans B and C.
The last couple of days have been excellent as I am keeping my eye on the TARGET and focusing in on what it is that I am wanting. Bottom line is that I want to smile and laugh often and to feel good more often than not.
p.s I went swimming last night and this morning my body is thanking me. I woke up feeling wonderful as my joints in my body have loosened up, especially around my shoulders and neck and I am not feeling so up-tight:)
