walking the dog (aka my monster brat) 5+ miles a day has apparently helped. she definitely motivates me to stay active. her energy is boundless even at 2yrs, but then again so would ours be if we had spent the beginning of our lives locked up like she did.
however I am still very cautious about what I eat and how much.

been a long time. have not really been watching what I eat. But I have a new 4 legged addition to my family and she gets me out in nice long walks 3 times per day.

wow I had a busy weekend. enjoyed a few bubblies and treated myself to a new hair cut. however thanks to the extremely humid conditions I felt bloated and gross most of the weekend. on the night side despite the weather I was able to get in a fair bit of walking on both Sat and Sunday. 😎. I forgot how much I missed my long walks.
I'll be weighing in later.. hope the scale is not up 😕

so my bf thought he would be "nice" and bring me home some potato chips. I have had a few rough days and he thought these would cheer me up abit. 😕. the gesture was sweet,. but those delicious fat laden, sodium suckers are definitely not scale friendly at all. I am drawn to them like a boat to a lighthouse on a foggy night. I know I should have more willpower, and simply say no. but dang it all I don't. needless to say the scale reflects my weakened state to the lure of the potato chip devil itself.
oh well all I can do is move forward and maybe find some junk food repellent.. lol

** to anyone living with the "heat warning, please stay hydrated, and keep yourself cool.. heat illness is dangerous.
