God still works miracles.
I love Him. He is such an awesome God.
I'm so sleepy. Mom will be bringing my son home pretty soon though, I think, so not really time to take a nap.
I hope everyone is having a happily memorable day.

Kroger had Rotel on sale today so I think I am going to make up a recipe lol .. I'm gonna call it Nacho Salad .. ground beef, Rotel, onions cooked together, melted cheese on top and served over a salad. They had sour cream on sale too so I might even add a dollop of that as well.
Oh my Goodness it tasted
so good
! So good, in fact, I've added it to the recipe database and I'd never even considered doing that before. It even made the salad taste edible lol

I'm watching a television show on The Learning Channel called Freaky Eaters and this one is about a woman who eats only sugary sweets all day everyday. She'd been doing it for at least 20 years, eats about 6500 calories a day and she's in no way obese. She isn't tiny - she probably wears a ten or twelve - but how does she do that? The concept of the show is to break her of it and get her to eat more nutritious food, but i was really surprised they didn't even mention her health. I mean I wonder what her insulin and blood sugar levels were like.

So, I finally got around to looking at the lens cleaner that came 'free' with my glasses. I looked at the instructions and they read "Spray onto lenses and wipe with clean cloth" .. but ... the bottle doesn't have a spray nozzle. It squirts .. oddness >.<
I cooked on my stove for the first time in around 3 years last night. Okay, it was onions sauteed in butter for my son and I to have with our microwave dinners, heh. But at least I did it. The ground beef that was bought with the onions languished and went bad in my fridge because of my injured foot/ankle (no one thought about the possibility of freezing it before it went bad).
This morning, I made my son a scrambled egg and cheddar cheese sandwich. He said several times it was delicious. I'm glad to be making new memories with him. See, he never remembers me cooking because he was so young when I started spiraling down so he doesn't remember my stove-top lasagna, my cabbage, my pinto beans, my melt in your mouth roasts, etc.
All in all, this has been a good weekend for us and I think he's actually liked it, too.
