A mid 30's mother of two (under school age children). Ex-nurse/A.I.N. I have P.C.O.S, hypertension which is currently in remission, and have gluten intolerance. I am currently living a low carb/ keto lifestyle. I have already lost over 20 kilos. My mother was diagnosed with blood pressure in her 30's and had a major stroke at 47 years old. I was 17 years old and had to care for her and my younger siblings. I do not want my little ones to go through that kind of pain and struggle. I myself do not want to end up like my mother. So here I am trying to avoid history repeating for the third time (my mother lost her father when she was in her early 20's and my grandfather lost his father when he was in his late teens and his mother in his a year or two later). I want to be a good role model for my children.
Not just for a long life but for better quality of life.
