I love good food, especially food that is bad for you, like sugar and processed carbohydrates, and cheese. I'm diabetic type 2 and have absolutely no will power. If I'm hungry I will eat whatever I can find, regardless of whether it is "forbidden" with diabetes. I have a husband and 2 children, so I try telling myself "would you rather taste something awesome, or would you rather live?" but so far it hasn't worked. I really want to be around for a long time for my family, especially as my youngest son is autistic and has already lost his biological dad a few years back due to ischemic heart disease (and his dad was the active one in the family). I would also like to make healthy family meals so that my family can be disease-free. Anti-inflammatory is top priority.
