I am on this site looking for motivation from others as I'm on this journey to a much better me.
My lowest weight was 140 ten years ago and I know I can get there again!
After four children, and not making health a serious priority, I can't stand to look at myself! I hate feeling this way about myself. My goal isn't to be thin, but to be healthy. I want to be strong, feel strong and be able to pursue any goal I have in mind.
I am currently breastfeeding my 4 month old and weight loss is a whole different game while nursing.
I found myself gaining when I was eating very minimal calories yet at the same time losing my milk supply. Its a different mind set to "Eat well to lose more" but so far its working. I am on a strict food plan:
Vegetables
fruit
chicken
quinoa
brown rice
almond milk
(Basically clean eating but excluding dairy, meat, wheat ect.)
Since I've had my son, I had steadily continued gaining even though I was only eating around 1100-1300 calories a day! Now that I am hitting around 2100 calories of HEALTHY food along with exercising at least 30-45 min a day, I am slowly starting to see results.
I would love to meet other people who are strong enough to take their health into their hands and do whatever it takes to make their goal!
