June 2010 245 lb now 169 lb = 76 pounds deleted
Ketogenic
Low carb high fat diet (replacing grains with coconut oil for energy)
Paleo (NO grain products, beans, dairy, fruit)

Fasting from 1pm till 7am next morning (sleep 8pm -4am)
food window 7am till 1pm. This allows body to clean out cells etc.
By keeping my carbs around 20g my fasting glucose is 100.
stats for yesterday:
26carb 71g protein 160g fat (5%carb 15%protein 80%fat)
115/78 bp, 169.6 lbs, 22% fat, 99 fasting glucose, total cal 1896 for 76 year old, 6'1 male.
I am 76 think I am now 27. Have titanium right hip and plan to become entirely titanium cyborg (Arnold Terminator model).
I am now able to go to LA Fitness gym and lift heavy weights which beats hanging with the walker crowd. I live out in the arizona desert so it is a 100 miles to get to the gym and the heat in the shade is 110 F.
I have been at my goal for half a year.
