Update!...good news little one does not need to be admitted to the hospital...as long as his breathing and fever stay under control and that he keeps eating and fluids down. Off to be with my little one.

Awe honey... I'm so sorry. My lil ones do that to me, too. Wait til 10pm on a tuesday night to be sick as all get out and keep me up giving treatments and worry bout going to hospital or not. Not easy to do.. but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. A little can of chowder isn't gonna kill ya when you are doing all that worryin' and tendin'. Try to see if you can get some easy to eat, fast foods to keep on hand while times are busy like this. Take care and see if someone can come relieve you for a nap?? :)

My 5 year old grandson suffers the same way with asthma for a few years now. On top of being asthmatic, I can understand your fear of Dominick having pneumonia. Grandson needs the nebulizer very often, has been taken in the wee hours of the night to the hospital where they always get him breathing normally; Daughter has to be very careful at the instant he has a cold, as you are, and administers "treatment" to him (nebulizer?). I can so relate to what you are going through. When my grandson reached 5 he was put on a pill (don't know what it is) and there has been some improvement. So glad Dominick was sent home! My grandson doesn't even panic anymore, he is so used to it, and tells his mom when he notices a change in his breathing. When he goes to his dad on weekends he has to bring "the machine" just in case!!! Hope you have some good nights, you and Dominick, coming up.......

OH sorry about your little one having pheumonia. Hope he gets well soon. Take care of yourself. Clam Chowder Soup is not the worst thing that you could have had. Hang in there. Soon everything will be back to normal.

Aw, just read about your little one and really hope that he will be better soon. You look after yourself too... the best you can under present circumstances. It's so difficult being a mum sometimes... but hope that you can get some rest and catch up on your sleep too. Hugs xx
