mcsidon's Journal, 11 Feb 18

February Birthday Week. My Granddaughter past Saturday, my Son Tuesday and Grandson Friday. Birthday cake can be hard on low carb nutrition. But I have planned it out sort of. I planned to just take a 1 inch square of cake and top with 1/2 cup fresh blueberries. However there was double portion of frosting and almost impossible to just get a small amount of plain cake. Afraid I irritated my daughter in law trying to dig around the frosting. She really does understand that I have to stay away from sugar. It's just the pressure of so many birthdays and expectations this week. Still going to be a good week and planning low carb options for the week of celebrations.
