Weight loss is science and not one size fits all. You need to know your body chemistry. Do you have insulin resistance even if not diagnosed with diabetes. Nearly 75% of Americans do. And you do not need to be over weight to have it. And it increases your risk of heart attack and stroke even at a younger age. The science is now showing the our high carb low fat diet over the past 40 years is actually harming us from infants to adults. Weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, vascular problems, endocrine disorders even cancer - all in the rise- are being shown to stem from the low fat high carb craze. Think more about your long term health and the weight loss will follow. Calories in and calories out is not how the human body works. It is much more complicated than that. We have hormones in play, digestive process. Food is more than fuel. It is information and each type of food affects your body and microbiome differently. Find out what your body needs. Work for good health, Feeling better and remember to stop blaming yourself. Willpower only goes so far when you are fighting biology
