So I was put to the ultimate test yesterday. First for lunch..since i was running a little late...I needed to get some lunch for me and my little one Domonic, he is 5...He wanted Burger King...and because I only treat once a month to fast food I said ok...However I had nothing for me...When I go to the BK I usually get a whopper w/ cheese & fries...I knew this was going to be a change for me...just to get a salad...I mean I love burgers, rolls and fries...YIKES LOL...but I did it, I ordered my salad w/ grilled chicken...they put some carrots in there...I just threw them away. Once meal down One meal to go...My nephew's 7th birthday was yesterday...and his party was at Chuckie Cheese...OMG 2 temptations in one day...My sister originally ordered 4 pizza's...I LOVE PIZZA..I think, how am I gonna say no to the carb demon in my head...so I decide to order a small salad which cost me $6.00 (at this point I think I paid more for the small salad bowl they gave me then she did on one pizza) and I sit down and eat my healthy salad before the pizza comes out...and just as I finish the Chuckie Cheese guy brings out the pizzas....I only touched them to serve the kids...My other son Jacob did not want his crust, so I take off the crust before he eats and for a split second I almost ate it (as I always did before), But I walked right over to the garbage can and tossed it...And you would think that is it, right? I did... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...my sister feels she didn't order enough (she always thinks she has to feed an army)...she orders 2 MORE PIZZAS...OMG she is trying to kill me...2 more great smelling, mouth watering pizzas come out...and I just ran in my head...4 pizzas down 2 to go...you can do this...so I just served them and moved on! YES 2 temptations in one day and I did it. YA for me!!!! So as we drove home last night in the rain...I must say 2 things crossed my mind...1. I did it and 2. When I weigh in on Monday morning that scale better have moved down! Happy Saturday all.
