Scale showed a shade under 301 this morning. Call it 300.6. Made it yesterday within FOK/STARCH no meat! no cheese! feel good about that. If I can maintain 1/4 to 1/2 every day or two that would be terrific-ok I can dream....lol. Still need to purge more out of refrigerator and freezer..Salmon, Brisket, a chunk of Ham...get rid of the temptation every time I open the door

When I started my FOK plan, I went through my kitchen & got rid of everything that wasn't within the plan. It was rather cathartic for me, kind of an f-u to my old lifestyle. The only thing I kept was some frozen chicken for the doggo. It's been very motivating for me & has kept me on track. It's hard to cheat when there are no temptations around.

You could send the brisket to me - my husband would live it! We don’t eat beef anymore except for VERY rare occasions.
I know the two men (Derek and his brother, from Austin) who teach FOK to the Whole Foods chefs nationwide. They taught us to water sauté foods, but I’m not very good at it.

getting better at water saute...tend to forget to add more often enough and dry food out
@dryphtyr I kept chicken too, and the frozen ground beef patties for my wife...
