Walked 3.3 miles this AM with doggies along for 2.6 miles. Another sunny, beautiful day with a light breeze....wish this weather would continue all summer long, but there's no chance of that! Got to enjoy this while we can!
DH and I walked the .7-mile loop at about 5 yesterday. This extra walking is just making me hungry and making my legs feel somewhat tired throughout the day.
Last night, I pulled out a 2007 article from the Eades' blog about leptin, insulin, weight loss, and hunger. Also reviewed a few sections of Taubes' book. No magic insights, however. Just a reiteration that insulin holds the key and the key to insulin control is to keep carbs under control.
My body is NOT bone-thin, so there's no reason why it can't shed the extra pounds I'm looking to drop....I just need to find the key to moving beyond this spot where it seems wa-a-a-y too comfortable!!! Obviously, something's changed and my body has changed the locks on weight loss...my previous "keys" don't seem to be working!
EDIT: Another .7-mile loop walked shortly before 5PM....approx. 12 minutes.
