The good news: The Fitbit Company is sending me a new unit!!! YEAH! I have no idea why this one just decided to stop recording info - but it's been quite a challenge to just get the thing to work this past week. And then it won't transfer the info to the site. And if I could get it to transfer - then it would stop recording. Weird. Anyway, new one is on its way! Yahooo!!!
IT IS because of the quality of their Customer Service to STEF, that I originally made the decision and selected this product. And I am so glad they worked with me, and then decided to just replace the thing. So many companies nowadays just leave you with their parting words 'there's nothing we can do' or 'your 30 days is already over' or something stupid like that. NOT these people, and I am just so impressed with them as a company. Truly. A bit pricey for a DELUXE pedometer... but well worth it in my opinion.
Now on to the NOT SO GOOD NEWS: I was all worried about my mom taking the Prednisone because of past experiences w/ her and that medication. Well, just before dinner last night her blood pressure dropped dramatically, she became dizzy, nausious, sweaty, clammy and began to vomit. I immediately made her some sodium filled chicken broth, and while she didn't want to drink it for fear of having it come right back up.. she did. And it helped. I honestly thought we were seconds away from calling for an Ambulance, but it began to pass.. and she took a nap. I woke her every 15 min's to make sure she was just sleeping, and not something else... but she is fine.
Will be watching her carefully today to see how things continue. She is up and eating toast early this morning. Wide eyed and bushy tailed...as they say!!! ;)
As for food / exercise - all is normal on that front. Although I did eat Dreamfields Pasta for the first time in a long time last night for dinner. This morning I am unusually BLOATED! Won't be doing that again anytime soon! ;)
