245 pounds when I started on September 2010.
Lost 68 pounds on LCHF (Low carb, High fat) diet.
Steady now around 177 lbs since September 2011.
My LCHF:
75-80% fat (coconut oil, grass fed only lard, Kerry-gold butter)
15 % protein (wild salmon, buffalo liver, etc)
5% or less carbs per day (never fruit or grains)
I am 76 and now do a heavy one hour weights only workout at the gym 3 times a week. When I was 245 lbs I could barely walk a block due to carrying about 70 pounds of fat on body. This diet has gotten me off metformin and blood pressure medications.
I currently am 137.7 lbs lean body mass with 39.4 lbs body fat.
