warrenwinter's Journal, 11 Dec 16

An overcast, Sunday here in Los Angeles! Will probably go to eat at Mimi's today. Back to my activities, and diet, and feeling good. Interesting, that my weight goes right back to before I left on vacation, and it seems all body systems are improving, and back to almost normal from surgery 50 days ago. Will look to get back to the gym this week. Need to get Christmas lights up quickly, and I wish everyone, a wonderful day. Enjoy the archive of famous musician pics.

Also, Trump is going to help the wealthy in California immensely with tax cuts. The gap between rich and poor already significant, will be off the charts.

Trump won because Americans are tired of career politicians; from both parties. Trump may be an ass but if he can clean house; more power to him.

Waiting for possible snow this evening in the northeast; hopefully will turn to rain where I'm at. Enjoy your day as well!

We will see, I just hope he doesn't get us in too many wars. I really hope it works out, but tax cuts with a 20 trillion deficit is alarming, and then he wants to spend trillions on the military.

Trump won three states by a total of 80,000 votes total. There are 40 million people in California.

If California was given the proper electoral votes for its population, we would have over 200 instead of 55.

Phil, I will look up Bubba Ho-Tep! What's that about?
11 Dec 16 by member: warrenwinter
Oh, the mafia around Elvis. I can imagine.

Bubba Ho-Tep is about an elderly Elvis, who traded places with a man named Sebastian Haf when he was younger, now he's old and in a rest home. His only friend in there is JFK, played by Ossie Davis, who survived the assassination attempt in '63, but they had to take his brain out and replaced it with a bag of sand. Anyway, Elvis and JFK's rest home is being victimized by an ancient Egyptian mummy that they've dubbed "Bubba" Ho-Tep and they end up having to fight off the mummy. Hilarious movie, my nephew is a student of Joe's and he's got my copy of the movie. lol

Almost reminds me of "Invaders from Mars". I loved that movie, but I will try and find that one. Sounds great!

Wow, Trump says "Daily Intelligence Briefings" are a waste of his time. Wow, that makes you feel secure.

He's relying on his puppet master's intel. Tell me I'm dreaming.

No Phil, he said, "I am a very intelligent man." We are going to hear that everyday, until even his voters are sick of hearing it. It's called, "Trump Perceived Reality"! He is omnipotent, or better. God has flaws to him.

Careful what you wish for in repealing your healthcare. Once the dominoes start falling, it could get really expensive and screwed up. Some believe healthcare is simple and should be cheap. Someone has to pay. Hospitals should be getting more frightened.

Warren thanks for sharing. I've had a blessed life. In each of your pictures is someone I knew, was amazed by, someone who was kind to me and someone who was just fun. The fun one was Chuck Berry he was always bright, openly friendly and such a flirt. The kind and generous one was Neil Young, once I was waiting for the Jefferson Airplane and security was clearing the area. They started to ask me to leave and Mr. Young said "no" she's with us. He didn't even know me. When I saw him around town later at various shows he always smiled and said hi. I met Muhammad Ali late one night when I was roaming the street at Hollywood and Vine, we play boxed, laughed and just had fun. Ray Charles was a family friend, I played with his daughter when we were kids. The funny thing is she had curves and I was a skinny kid. I thought she was so pretty and in those days I was obsessed with gaining weight. I don't want to a skinny twig again just slimmer with some curves.
