I never knew this. .......the pot calling the kettle black......comes from pots and pans being black and kettles were metallic and reflective. Therefore the pot sees its black reflection in the kettle, and thinks that the kettle is black.

I saw Nicholas Kristof talking about Flynn last night. It was not encouraging. 

Lucky me, the great and magical Trump will be spending the weekend in the town next to mine at his golf course.

Hi! I actually don't go to public school but I am home schooled by my mom. And I have no idea what grade I would be in. I am 14. Anyways have a great day buddy!! 

Wow, schools are becoming the focus of student hatred.  

Catgirl, interesting, as I taught Independent Study my last 10 years, and if you lived in my district in California, you would have been my student. In California, they no longer allow home teaching without an Independent Study teacher. I taught all kinds of kids in every kind of situation. Arab kids, who were worried about their faith in school, very sick kids who had all kinds of illnesses, troubled kids of all kind, girls with children, and on and on. I will never forget, I had 5 kids, who were 5th graders, who had used explosives to blow up their school restroom. I had students who stabbed others with knives. I have seen it ALL. I wish you the best in whatever you do. Nice being your friend and supporter.  

One student, that SCARED me the most, that I had, was a big time gang member, and I would meet him, and his mother at their car, everyday, and personally escort him to class, as they, he included, were worried rival gang members wanted to kill him. 

One of my students was convicted of murder in the same school year.
