Mitt Romney would be a great choice for Secretary of State, and Michael Flynn is a bad choice as National Security Advisor, which has been given to him, and he and will accept. Flynn's position needs an objective mind to situations, he faces. This guy is a nut, and has had issues with classified information. He is an extreme Trump partisan. My opinion!

I was shocked at the amount of fake news stories during the Brexit campaign and equally shocked at seeing some people on Facebook reposting them as though they actually believed them! I think I was born with a large amount of natural scepticism though 🙂

Doobrie, it's absolutely appalling how naive and gullible our citizenry has become and how limited people's critical thinking skills are--they don't even know enough to seek out wise opinions when they aren't prepared to come up with them on their own. I hope it's not as bad over there as it is here. . . And I hope the reckless and ill-informed choice our populace has just made doesn't prove too dangerous for the rest of the world in the coming years.

Thanks for all the comments. Kp, Doobrie, Walk4Fitbit, and Kes, I just wish our candidates were held to the same standards. 40 million people in California are left with a decision made by less than 100,000, all together, in 4 states. It doesn't seem fair. Every one of these cabinet appointees are outsiders, and most have a history of racism, and now racism has a place in our highest government office. In Vegas, I saw a black man, pulled over by police officers, and my thought was, they know they could shoot the guy dead, and nothing would happen to them. Nothing ever has to this point. Now that would scare me BIG TIME!

So how does fake news affect so many? People will believe what they want to believe. So many love conspiracy theories, like, "Did we ever really land on the moon, or was it filmed on a Hollywood set?????" I have friends, that believe this one.

So political "right wing extremists" in Iran are telling moderate President Hassan Rouhani and his allies. "We told you America could never be trusted!" The Iran Peace Agreement worked on for many months by moderate Iranian and American leaders will most likely be torn apart. Iran is Isis' one enemy in the region, surrounded by countries supporting Sunni Isis. Even Saudi Arabia is mostly Sunni. Isis was formed as a reaction to Saddam Hussein's execution.

It is clear, Kp, that giving Flynn the top Security cabinet post, will make for a very, scary, world situation. Flynn is an outsider, who the military was losing trust in, and was even breaching his top security clearance. Yet he was blaming Hillary for breaching confidential information clearances by using her private server. That is commonly called, calling the kettle black. Making this world nervous is not a wise thing.
