I like that you are doing well! Years ago, I flew out to L.A. to wait with my friend while her husband had prostate cancer surgery in Torrance. There were some serious complications regarding his overall condition, and it was a scary time for a while. I have been remembering that these last few days. Surgery has certainly come a long way, and you are one hardy fellow. Still, I'm relieved that it has all worked out so well and you are safely home with your own personal nurse-wife!

Kp, did he do the robotic? I thought it was interesting that the doctors were Arabic, I believe, very nice, very professional, and obviously do this surgery like clockwork. There were about 12 people waiting for surgery at 9:00 am, and did surgery appointments to noon. This Dr. Monish Aron is their main surgeon with one other. I thought it was interesting, that he believed his technique was superior to other techniques. I read that blood flow can create visual problems for the surgeon, that could cause a problem in hurting tissue that creates blood flow to the genitals. Sounds like a need to cut the prostate without hurting the surrounding tissue. Was your friend Ok in the end?

Now, I realize I met a fellow doctor. They said he was my surgeon, but I met with a different doctor.

I really shouldn't watch John Oliver when I am sick, as laughing hurts SO bad, but I can't help it. I love this guy!

They obviously must have a group of surgeons. Most likely a large group.
