It is becoming obvious to me that the holidays are going to push me to my limit of self control this season. I know last year I slipped, and went several weeks without weighing in. The scale crept up a couple of pounds, and I was so disappointed in myself. So, it won't happen this year. Will keep up with the regular weekly weigh-ins, make the best food choices I can, and keep up with working out. No slipping over the holidays this year!!!

If I may offer a suggestion: Since you are a runner,
Plan on a run on every Holiday. Early morning before the festivities. That will put you on a positive mindset for the rest of the day. Works for me.

Thanks, guys! Definitely planning on those early holiday morning runs- makes me feel good all day, and that's the best gift I can give myself. :) And coupling that with lots of reminders that, while I may have wanted that slice of cheesecake/couple of cookies/handful of chips for fifteen minutes, I have wanted this body my whole life!
