It just dawned on me today when I was looking over my progress and charting in my other journal, I have lost 51.8 pounds in about 8 months. I have to keep this in mind for when the scale refuses to move or budge it will happen. I am doing this... Yeah ME!!!
One of the things I have learned this past 8 months no matter what life throws at me I have a choice of drowning my sorrows or celebrating my joys of life with food I know isn't healthy, or I can reward myself with something lasting.
I have chosen to buy earrings for each 10 pounds I loose I get to choose a new pair of earrings that I have been drooling over. I think it is so important to tell myself great job.
Now onto next goal of getting my butt back into the gym.
