I lost 17 2 years ago, including my 91 year old mom...now one of my best pals has very little time breast cancer...lets try and not let the eating be an excuse for our sadness...we have always done that...and if we want change we have to start with little steps...extra celery ( ha ha) no I mean it...so feel for you.

Sometimes when things like that happen, you feel out of control. What if you just decided that what you put in your mouth is the ONE thing you absolutely CAN control? What if your food decisions became your anchor? Just a thought.

So sorry for your loss and the pain of seeing a loved one at the end of their journey. I know how it feels...I too say be kind and understanding to yourself. You will again get in control
