Today has been a classic day of 'housewife' chores. Laundry, Groceries, Housecleaning, Cooking, Caretaking for Mom-related stuff, School chaffeur, ETC... Just sat down w/ a cup of java... and it feels good! :)
Bummer...just remembered I have wet clothes in the washer and stuff in the dryer... gotta run! Much Love.

Sounds good to me! Getting the chores done I mean, not the coffee - ewww LOL
I am "choring" today too - feels good to be productive! We hardly ever use our dryer - maybe twice a year in emergencies because of the price of electricity. We usually dry outside on the line or inside in front of the fire in the winter....

This may sound strange to you but I would love to have a day off in the middle of the week to catch up on chores. Bet you burned lots of calories!

That is what I need. I have so much to do, starting with cleaning out my fridge - power just came back on after 4 long, grueling days. Unfortunately taking the day off tomorrow is not an option. Looks like I'll be at it all night. That's ok tho... I'll burn those extra calories, since I've been eating bad (not been able to cook at home) and I don't mind at all. Just happy to go home to my own house! Hope your day was great and you got everything accomplished that you needed to.

Ya know - it's funny in a weird kinda way...back before my parents got sick, and before I lost my Dad, and my Mom came to live w/ me...I worked a FULL time job. (50-60 hrs/week!) Plus commuted my son to and from school. (would leave my office - take him, go back, pick up, drop at home, and go back to the office). Typically left the house at 6:30am and didn't often get home for good until 6:30pm. THEN I would either start dinner, or sometimes hubby had already started it, or take out was always the fallback saving grace! No wonder I gained so much!!! Anyway...can't tell you the amount of times I WISHED and PRAYED that somehow, some way...I could one day stay home again...to be able to clean my house, shop, cook and care for my family! HA! LITTLE did I remember how ridiculously boring, and unappreciated this job really is :) ...Word to self...Hire someone!

Somewhere deep down inside you know they appreciate you - they just need to work on their sharing skills.
