In the month or so that I heve been on FatSecret, I have learned is that while we might be taking different dietary 'roads', we are all on the same journey towards a healthier weight. The journey is long, so it is great to have company along the way. I have also realized that weight management is not a sprint, it is an endurance race. I will encounter obstacles, but I am determined to overcome them. I might fall at times, but I will not stay down. Once I keep moving forward, one step at a time, I will reach my goal of being a healthier, fitter and significantly lighter me. My mantra for this week is: "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present." My affirmation for each day is: ❀ I will make today the best that I can make it. ❀ I will be kind to my body by feeding it the nutrition that it needs to be at optimum health. ❀ I will be kind to my mind by focusing on the positive steps that I am making towards my goals. ❀ I will be kind to my spirit by identifying at least one blessing in my life today.
