I know what you mean, donuts are like at the top of the temptation list.

Ohhh lord. I have thr WORST reactions when people bring Donuts into my lobby. Which is like 3 times a week. We have one guy that brings two big boxes of Fresh Crispy Creams. I don't want them. But when my nose smells the sugar my stomach pumps a load of Acid and I instantly feel ill. I think I am allergic to sugar since I have not had any for 2+ months. for Petes sake I TRIED to eat one of those little hard lemon candies and it gave me an anxiety attack almost. I spit it out and said never again. I don't mind having anxiety about sugar. It keeps it out of my mouth and me alive longer for it.

It was funny and I visited many things at the store I wouldn't normally but finally found my way out! lol I always find distraction to be the biggest tool in my shed. @knuckles goodness that must be terrible to experience, and that's a great way to look at it. @Jimmie my daughter is one of those creatures that has a naturally perfect high metabolism. She has perfect height and weight according to her docs. I honestly have always taken the approach of letting her eat as she wishes and to make as many decisions for herself as possible. Thats how we learn to make good decisions. We always have candy, snacks, ben & jerry's, chips etc She trick or treats and I end up throwing it out because she doesn't eat it. I have found since I have started this WOE she has opted to have things my way. I.e. having taco fixin's in a salad rather then have the soft shells.

I can't shop while I am hungry. If I do, I buy half of the store. It doesn't even matter that I have the strength to keep from eating it! :) It just means that I have a higher grocery bill. Good job on your strength with the donuts!
