Experiment day to see how steelcut oats effects my blood sugar. First I checked the sugar after drinking 5 cups of coffee with a little honey added.
Then I had a serving of sco with margerine and honey plus 2 slices of whole wheat bread with margerine. Sugar checked right when I finished.
Next was 48 minutes on the exercycle going 10.11 miles and burning 371 calories.
One hour after eating my sugar had risen to 148. I believe it would have went higher had I not exercised.
I will eat light meals the rest of the day and believe my weight will be down in the morning.
Had a large Wendys chili, a fried apple pie, and a coffee for lunch.
