Todays accomplishment had nothing to do with working out. But instead it was when the nice folks at Dunkin Donuts gave my kids free munchkins. I know that they only wanted the glazed and chocolate kind and would leave the powdered ones behind. I KNEW that I am the one that finishes the ones they don't eat. But not today. Today, I didn't say "give the ones to you don't want to mommy" I didn't do it. So that right there felt good!
Didn't do as much cardio as I could have done...but hey, its Monday. I didn't want to get out of bed and certainly didn't feel like going to the gym, but I did it. No weigh in, even though i swear the scale was calling me over today. Last night my husband asked how much weight I lost. He guessed 10-12lbs. Seriously? Does he think I look like i lost that much? I didn't ask. He usually says 1 right thing, then follows with 3 wrong things to say. So i didn't push it. I shamefully said "None" and he encouraged me to stay with it. But, I haven't checked since last Thursday and won't jump on the scale til this thursday. Overall, I feel good and starting to feel like myself again :)
