My heel has been killing me for months. Finally today seen podiatrist and diagnosed with bone spurs. Cortisone shot sent me through the ceiling, but has worked. Finally relief, I hope this last awhile,so I can walk more.

I have had one of them for a while, was advised not to have the needle, have found an alternative treatment my podiatrist introduced. it's called shock therapy and it also hurt but has allowed me to walk a bit better

Thanks for the info. I go back in two weeks,so I will ask about it. It hurt like you know what, but already a big relief. Do you have to have multiple treatments?

I had surgery for your problem on both feet. Believe me, the best solution. It is called plantar fasciotomy. When I had it done, not many doctors were doing the surgery.

By the way, cortisone is no solution, I don't believe, I hope it works out. The minor surgery solves it for life. It can make you a cripple, so take it seriously.

Thanks so much Warrenwinter, I will for sure ck with Dr. about it. Yes , I agree it will cripple you, I have been hopping and using a cane every night as soon as my shoes come off. I can't believe I have suffered with this on an off for about 8yrs. It was pretty good for a little while today, but really bothersome now. Take care
