Day 6 of Whole30 and i am down 5 pounds...yippie :-D
These first days have been a real challenge for me. eliminating all sugar, alcohol, grain, dairy and legumes has taken much will power on my part but am feeling the cravings for those things less and less as the days go by.
24 more to go...taking one day at a time...i can do this

Maybe after you try Paleo. Been 6 weeks for me. Feel great, no cravings! On weekends we make lo-carb gluten-free desserts or treats. Been doing 50 carbs a day per Dr. and all is good.

Nice work - are you supposed to wait to weigh in until the end? I don't know but I think I read that somewhere about Whole 30. Congrats on the success!

yes, HCB, not getting on the scales til the entire 30 days is complete is what the program says to do but I'm bad and can't wait til then...will keep myself to weighing just once a week. This is the second time i've done the 30 days, the first being about a year and a half ago...i was successful with losing weight and also changing my eating habits but after a period of time i slid back into old habits, as usual.... Rontravis, Paleo might just be what i need after i'm finished...will have some decisions to make once i'm there. Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement, this is just the kind of place i've been looking for!

It is great you are having positive outcomes with Whole 30. I have another buddy here who is completing her 30 days, and then recommitting to it another month,
