Whole 30 Day 23!

Yesterday I brought my boyfriend out for dinner. We haven't eaten out in over 20 days. It is mainly because of the Whole30. And he has been so good about this and not pressured me to eat out during my whole 30. So I figured we would try this cute little organic place.

We shared raw oysters for appetizer. I had yuca frites and grilled octopus for my entree . Of course I was THAT person that asked the waiter to make sure there was no added sugar and dairy in any of the dishes I picked. The chef came out and was kind enough to ensure they did not use any added sugar or dairy in my entree. I had to ask because I worked so hard to get this far in my program.

I ended the meal with a cup of french pressed black coffee which was delicious. I really enjoyed my meal. And to say the least- the bread at the table did not even tempt me.


After this dinner. I decided I may not have a cheat meal at the end of my 30 days. I think I will just have some chocolate and then get back on track with my program. I really have no desire to cheat JUST to cheat. I really do not have any cravings that are urging me to cheat. So why cheat???? I will TREAT myself to chocolate and have the rest of my meals whole 30 approved. I feel too good to ruin what I worked so hard for now.

I like your thinking, that you're "treating" yourself to something out of the ordinary instead of a cheat. Means more than just semantics.
