what's everyone's input on green tea extract? caffeine supplements? garcia cambogia ? ( hope I spelled that right? hehe). These seem to be the "in" supplements right now and Ive been reading a lot about caffeine on BB.com lately. Im following Dr. Jim Stoppani's shortcut to strength program and he recommends caffeine/green tea but Ive yet to jump on that band wagon and wanted to do my research which always includes asking my friends on fat secret.. I will admit, I drag right around 3 pm and usually want to nap and usually have a cup of joe or red bull.. which i always feel bad about after wards but drink em anyway.. if i could omit the tiredness and have the added benefit of a fat burner with out the edginess, I would be really really stoked.. Whats everyone's input? What do you do for that "edge" thru out the day.. any alternatives ?

Deanna the one I get is Brand Name - STASH. It might be available at Walmart or a regular grocery store.

I love Bigelow green tea! And they add flavors to some of the teas (or you can just get regular) I find their tea is very smooth. I add equal to it though.

i get loose tea online from adagio-dot-com and it is fresh and fantastic. best way to get caffeine is natural source, not processed in pills. the green tea selection is amazing. if not that, try the ethnic stores in your area or amazon to get full leaf versions as opposed to the dust they sell as tea bags.

I'm a heavy coffee drinker, but have recently been introduced to match green tea. Not gonna lie, it's expensive, but I love it! It gives me energy like coffee, but without the jitters. The flavor takes a little getting used to, but now I love it. I started drinking matcha tea because I was trying to find a suitable replacement for coffee. My doctor told me coffee causes inflammation, and that I drink too much of it, so I had to cut back. its a work in progress, but the matcha seems to help control my cravings, so that's nice! With coffee, every time I drink it I feel the need to eat something sweet with it, which isn't helping my waistline at all!

I drink 8 to 12 cups of coffee a day, usually Keurig KCup style and supplement with L-Theanine, one of the ingredients in typical green tea, as needed for study, focus and calm. Why not just Green Tea? I would have to drink 16 to 20 cups of green tea to get the same dosing level of L-Theanine directly. Yes, there are other useful components in green tea but to drink that much would be counter productive in that I'd be peeing every 20 minutes instead of focusing on the task at hand. I'll pair the L-Theanine with coffee. They compliment each other really well with their end results of laser focus and endless energy.

I went to an Asian store nearby and bought me some authentic shredded green tea leaves. The reason I said authentic is because they aren't bagged and are literally shrapnels of leaves and stems of green tea all in a large container. Luckily I have a reusable mesh bag I can put a tablespoon full in and make a cup. Sometimes I'd enjoy some Earl Grey black tea as well and there's a gourmet tea shop around the corner that sells them. Talk about calmness and relaxed feeling after drinking a cup of Real Earl Grey tea. The ones sold in tea bags at normal grocery stores do absolutely nothing. Want a picker upper? Find some authentic potent green tea leaves. Want to have a nice quiet, tranquil, and stress free evening? Drink some authentic Earl Grey tea.
