Well I woke up with enough energy to clean my house and made time to get a workout and some weights in. Huge change for me. One week into the LCHFIF diet.. Getting stronger but my mind is weakening lol. I want to lick the damn tv screen when I see a pizza commercial.. I HAVE to remember to eat until I'm SATISFIED. Have to fine tune that feeling know that I can stop at any point. Have to think deficit.. Blood sugars were all over 100 today. Not much over

LOL - I agree - the pizza commercials are a trigger for many people! There is one that has bacon wrapped around the crust!

Ridiculous, right! I laugh and say I am LCHF and I can eat bacon...the rest of it? NOT

Oh yes you are awesome...1 week now doing LCHF...great just make sure you have about 75 grams of good oil (butter, coconut, olive, lard, fatty beef,chicken and skin) if your meet is lean that is dog food in my house. )in your diet...that can be hard for a new person to accomplish ...but try hard and the hunger will be under better control..so proud of you. We are going to kick that dietetics back to hell.

Oh you guys! I rarely watch commercials as I just fast forward thru but now I feel like I MUST see the pizza with the bacon wrapped crust!!! Who has this delicious thing?!?!?!

That LFHC does give you a lot of energy. It is Atkins for me, kind of close to what you are doing, but more guidelines. I get hungry for pizza too, but so far I have been able to resist the urge and the craving are minimal.

Suggestion for you LCHF'rs - try a cauliflower crust pizza, recipes are easily found on the web. Alternately you could use Mission Carb Balance wraps for a thin crust pizza, only 6 grams net carbs in a burrito sized wrap which makes dinner plate sized pizza. Or a pizza with a chicken crust, recipes also available on the web. Pizza doesn't have to be off limits, just need to find a way to avoid the traditional crust.
